12 Apr 2019 by Sanchita Nambiar

Starting from April 15, IndiGo will operate few of its domestic flights from Terminal 2 at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai (CSMIA). Flight numbers from 6E 5300 to 5399 will depart from and arrive at Terminal 2.

IndiGo tweeted:

The low-cost airline recently introduced 20 new domestic flights from Mumbai and Delhi, owing to the shortfall in industry capacity — IndiGo has expanded its services from Mumbai with Jet Airways’ vacant departure slots. IndiGo flights from Mumbai to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Nagpur, Patna, Vadodara and Varanasi will be operating from Terminal 2. The detailed list of airline’s new flight schedule can be found here.

SpiceJet, AirAsia India and Vistara are few other airlines that have acquired the vacant Jet slots. (Also read: Jet Airways suspends all international flights)
