Sydney came to a standstill during peak hour as a woman refused to get off the train tracks at the city's busiest station.
Police were called to Central Station on Friday at 5.30pm after reports there was a person on the tracks.
The city's train system was thrown into chaos as commuters struggled to get home with delays across the board.

The Airport and South, Bankstown, Inner West and Leppington, North Shore, Northern and Western lines have been affected
Thousands of passengers leaving work were stranded at Wynyard Station as the power supply was switched off.
The Airport and South, Bankstown, Inner West and Leppington, North Shore, Northern and Western lines were also affected.
One commuter told Daily Mail Australia: 'People are everywhere – they're saying on the PA at Wynyard there's no trains coming out of central.
'They're saying there's a trespasser on the tracks refusing to get off the tracks, we don't know when services will be resumed'.

Sydney Trains shared on Twitter that 'due to the trespasser on the tracks at Central, we had to turn the power supply off.
'Emergency crews are on site and working to restore power. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.'
All trains were stopped as police removed the woman from the tracks.
Delays are expected to continue.
A police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia the woman was taken into police custody.
She said as the incident was mental health related police would not comment further.
