Parul Chauhan, who shot to fame with her role as Ragini in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai became a household name later on with her stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In the show, the stunning beauty is seen as Swarna Manish Goenka also known as Mohsin Khan aka Kartik's mother. Parul has been a part of YRKKH since 2016 and people loved to see her on the small screen as she entertained with her amazing performance.

But now, sad news has come on its way! Yes, Parul has quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as she is not ready to play the role of a grandmother on the small screen. Talking about it, the actor stated to TimesofIndia.com, "Yes, I have quit the show as I was not ready to play the role of a grandmother's role at such an early stage of my career. I felt I won't be able to do justice to the role. I spoke to Rajan sir (Producer) and thankfully he understood my concerns."

On being quizzed about her further plans, the actor said, "I am enjoying the break and not in any hurry to return to work. I went to stay with my parents at my house for a few days. Doing a daily soap becomes very hectic, you end up getting no time for yourself. Hence, I am also working on the body and taking care of myself. I am enjoying the break."

Last year in the month of December, Parul tied the knot with her longtime beau Chirag Thakkar.
