“The new case leaks for the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL shows the phones from all possible angles”
Google is expected to launch mid-range variants of the Pixel 3 series, called the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, in the next few weeks. These phones have been all over the internet lately. We have seen renders of these phones and even Google accidentally revealed their existence on the Google Store and the Play Store. Now, there are some new case leaks for the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, which show the phones from all angles. Apart from that, Google’s next flagship phones, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, just had their codenames revealed.
Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL codenames
As per the findings, the Pixel 4 is most likely known as Coral and the Pixel 4 XL is called Flame Angelfish. There’s another name that has been discovered and it could belong to the Pixel Watch or another new product. It carries the codename “Needlefish”.
Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL cases
Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has posted on Twitter images of the alleged Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL transparent cases. These cases reveal the designs of the phones, which are pretty much the same as the leaked renders. Both phones appear to have a similar design, with thick bezels, headphone jack, USB Type-C port, single rear as well as front facing cameras, and fingerprint scanners at the back. Take a look at the leaked images below.
As you can see by the case images, the main differences in design with the flagship Pixel 3 series and the mid-range 3a series are the thicker bezels, inclusion of headphone jack, and single front facing camera. Also, the back of the phone seems to have a dual tone panel, but we are not sure whether it is glass or plastic. Hopefully, Google will announce the new phones soon and we won’t have to leave anything to the imagination.
