2019 Porsche 911 Launched At ₹1.82 Crore In India

Next generation of iconic Porsche 911 is finally here for customers in India. Porsche India has introduced the much awaited 2019 edition of Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe at ₹1.82 crore while Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet costs ₹1.99 crore (ex-showroom, India). In comparison to the outgoing generation, 2019 Porsche Carrera S is more powerful, wider in exterior dimensions and has a heavily updated interior to offer.

With 30 PS more power, the new Porsche 911 Carrera S comes equipped with the same 3.0litre turbocharged flat-six engine that was there in the previous generation. The result of which the overall output of 2019 911 Carrera S now stands at 450 PS. It has a new-8 speed PDK gearbox that propels its rear wheels. Performance figures state that 2019 Carrera S Coupe sprints from 0-100 kmph in 3.7 seconds while the convertible does it in 3.9 seconds. It offers a top speed of over 300 kmph.

The updated exterior design comprises of a 45mm wider nose while the rear has been given a wider active spoiler. The presence of a new LED light strip that runs right across which is a standing point for this performance machine. For improved driving dynamics and better grip, Porsche has given the 911 a new set of tyres which comprise of 20-inch wheels in the front while the rear provides 21 inchers. In addition to these, the German sportscar maker is also offering optional LED matrix headlights with PDLS Plus for active light management that makes sure that the driver gets better visibility with improved safety for the remaining occupants. According to the company, the 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet has a lighter roof that can be open or closed by the switch of a button in just 12 seconds with a speed of up to 50 kmph.

Unlike the exteriors, the interiors of 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S are heavily updated. This includes a refreshed dashboard layout. In comparison to the previous generation, this one gets a bigger 10.9 inch Porsche Communication Management system. Porsche has put in a new gear selector as well in the new 911 Carrera S.
