PM Modi: Your happiness is my happiness and whenever you have faced troubles, I have left no stone unturned to solve them. Several people, including many from Kerala got stuck in conflicts in The Gulf and Africa. These are honest, hardworking people who are earning money for their families. But, they faced problems due to forces of terror. In the last four years, nurses from Iraq were brought back safely. Thousands of Indians came back home from Yemen, South Sudan and Libya
PM Modi: We are working to boost tourism in Kerala and the rest of the nation. Tourist arrivals have increased by almost 45% ever since we took office. The e-visa facility for over 166 nations has been a game changer.
PM Modi: Now, when our forces successfully eliminate terrorists inside their own homes, Congress, Left & their allies question our forces. They were silent when they had to act. Today, when the bare minimum they can do is show support, they prefer to question & insult our forces
PM Modi: The UDF and the LDF have given free passes to extremist organisations to radicalise our youngsters.
PM Modi: The UDF and the LDF have given free passes to extremist organisations to radicalise our youngsters.
PM Modi: The BJP's full effort will be to keep the subject of the hundreds of years old faith, tradition and worship of Kerala in front of the Supreme Court.
Our government will also strive to provide constitutional protection to topics of faithOur government will also strive to provide constitutional protection to topics of faith.
PM Modi: Till BJP is there, the force of the LDF and farce of the UDF will not be able to destroy Kerala’s traditions. I want to say it clearly - BJP stands with Kerala.
BJP stands with your faith.
PM Modi: Their tricks are aimed at making people helpless in their own land. But, if UDF and LDF think they can destroy our faith, they are mistaken
PM Modi: They are trying to make Kerala a laboratory of their mischief. They are insulting sentiments of the people. They call themselves champions of speech and expression. But, they deny the same to the people of Kerala.
PM Modi: But then, these so-called liberals activate their entire network of fake NGOs, fake civil society groups, urban Naxals, Tukde-Tukde Gang to interfere in the faith and traditions of our land.
PM Modi: The Communists and the Congress have blatant double standards on women empowerment, which is evident from their stand on the brutal practice of Triple Talaq?
PM Modi: I want to ask outdated communists and fake liberals as to why are they silent on the political killings of RSS and BJP workers in Kerala?
PM Modi: Kerala's culture has come under immense attack by the UDF and the LDF. Kerala is a peaceful land. But the Communists and the Congress have brought political violence to the land. Several RSS Karyakartas and BJP workers have been killed for serving the people.
PM Modi: Electing the Communists and Congress is giving the license to the leaders in top-level corruption. Right now, the entire nation is talking about a huge scam by the Congress – the Tughlaq Road scam. In Madhya Pradesh, cash worth crores of rupees have been seized and detailed probes have revealed that the money can be traced back to a family on Tughlaq road, New Delhi.
The money was grabbed from the funds allocated for women and children development. Can you imagine how shameless you are?
PM Modi: Parties here are experts at land grabbing. The parties are insensitive to the needs of the people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses a rally in Kozhikode, Kerala
PM Modi: In the past, the Communist LDF and the communal UDF have taken the people of Kerala for a ride. Both have taken turns in looting Kerala. If not, then why have so many ministers resigned over corruption charges since 2016?
Rahul Gandhi: I am confident that our alliance (Congress-DMK) will win in Tamil Nadu.
Rahul Gandhi: While India faces unemployment, 22 lakh government jobs lay vacant. The Congress party will fill these vacancies within the first year of coming to power.
Rahul Gandhi: During our manifesto conversations, many poor farmers asked us as to why the rich don't go to jail if they fail to pay their debt, but the poor are thrown into jails for failing to pay back their money.
Hence we have decided to change the law. When the Congress comes to power, we will not send any farmer who fails to pay his debt, who defaults on his loan, to jail.
Rahul Gandhi: So we have mentioned in our manifesto, that we are going o do some dramatic things for the farmers of Tamil Nadu. We want to remove fear from your heart. We want farmers to live with confidence. We want them to believe that the government stands with them. The next budget will have a dedicated budget for farmers. Every single farmer will know in the beginning of the year what the govt is going to do for them.
Rahul Gandhi: We will not allow Mr. Modi to disrespect the farmers of Tamil Nadu. I saw with my own eyes farmers of Tamil Nadu protesting in Delhi. I went there and hugged them. In every state run by the Congress, we have waived off loans for farmers. Mr. Narendra Modi did not have the dignity to do so.
Rahul Gandhi: Narendra Modi is convinced that he can run Tamil Nadu from Delhi. He is convinced that if he can pressurise the government of Tamil Nadu, he can run Tamil Nadu. He certainly does not understand the history culture and spirit of Tamil Nadu. I want to gift him a book of Periyar with compliments. I want to give him a book by Shri Karunanidhi.
Rahul Gandhi: Narendra Modi is the element of hate in India. We are not going to fight Narendra Modi's hatred with hatred. We are going to fight Narendra Modi's hatred with love and affection.
Rahul Gandhi: When Mr. Modi promised 15 lakh to the people of India, he lied. I will stand on this stage today and say that I cannot promise Rs 15 lakh. That is because I haven't come here to lie. However, I can promise NYAY (justice) to the poor.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi addresses a rally in Theni, Tamil Nadu.
Rahul Gandhi: This year, we have promised 'justice' or 'NYAY' to the people of India. If we come to power, we will not give money to the 15 richest businessmen as Mr. Modi does, we will not give Rs. 5 or Rs. 10; we will give Rs 72,000 annually to the 20% poorest families in India.

In the 2014 general election, AAP had contested from all 10 seats and lost its security deposit from all of them, getting a dismal voteshare of 4.2%.
