Nifty’s 11,600 put option contract was among the most active Nifty option contracts on National Stock Exchange.
Premium on the contract fell 3.9 percent to Rs 51.60. Over 6.8 lakh shares were added to the open interest which stood at over 14.21 lakh shares.
Ruchi Soya Jumps After Block Deal
Shares of Ruchi Soya rose as much as 9.4 percent to Rs 7.6.
About 50 lakh shares or 1.5 percent equity changed hands in single block deal, Bloomberg data showed. Buyers and sellers were not known immediately.

Vakrangee At Eight-Month High
Shares of Vakrangee rose as much as 7.7 percent to Rs 71, its highest level since August 2018.
The trading volume was more than 17 times its 20-day average for this time of the day, Bloomberg data showed. The stock rose 32.4 percent in the last seven trading sessions.
