Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Four matches have been played in 19th All India Mayank Chaturvedi cricket tournament at Old Campion Sports Ground on Wednesday. First match was played between Nokia and Ryan Waters. While batting first Ryan club scored 187 with Piyush’s runs, Himanshu’s 36 runs. While bowling Nokia’s, Rehan took 5 wickets including a hat-trick whereas Samir took 2 wickets.

In response Nokia’s team scored 113/10, only Navdeep could score 37 runs and Shubham scored 33 runs, from Ryan’s side, Sameer took a total of eight (8) wickets including a hat-trick.Sameer (8 wickets) was selected as the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance in the match.

(2) The second match of the competition was played between Mayank Academy and Saint Michael’s Club. After winning the toss St. Michael team chose to bat first and scored 182 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. In which Parvez Ullah fired glorious century with 119 runs in only 53 balls during this he lofted 12 sixes and seven fours, another batsman Arbaz Qureshi scored 18. From Mayank’s bowling side, Adikrishna Pathak took 3 wickets and Shivansh Chaturvedi took 2 wickets.

Mayank Academy in response could only score 163/8 in which Krish Malhotra scored 65 and Hradesh scored 22, while from St Michael, Zeeshan and Usman took 2-2 wickets each.Parvez Ullah was chosen as the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.

On Wednesday, third match was played at Bab-e-Ali Maidan between Officer XI and JLU. While playing first, the Officer XI has scored 106/10 in which Akshay scored 26 and Adil scored 25, Ratnesh took 7 wickets including a hat-trick while Faisal Meer took 2 wickets. In reply JLU’s team scored 105/10 with the help of Sushant’s 33 runs. Officer XI won the match by one run. Neeraj of Official XI took 3 wickets while Adil took 2 wickets. Adil was selected as Man of the Match.

Fourth match was played between Postal and DGP XI. While bating first Postal team scored 100/10 with the help of Mayank’s 20 runs. Vijay and Vaibhav of DGP took 3-3 wickets each. DGX XI chased this target and scored 101/3 and won the match by seven wickets. Ankit scored 32 * and Vaibhav scored 31 *, Puneet Dante took 3 wickets form Postal side. Vaibhav was chosen as Man of the Match for his outstanding performance in the match.

Senior cricketers, Javed Hameed, Atul Khare, Abdul Aqeel and Dheeraj Huriya have honored players of the match.
