Professor Syeda Khursheed Fatima Husaini, department of Persian, Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University, was awarded with President’s Certificate of Honour-2018 for her valuable services in Persian language and literature. The award was given to her by Vice President of India M Venkaiya Naidu at a function held in New Delhi recently.

Prof Husaini, graduated from Banaras Hindu University and got her PhD degree in Persian. She joined the University of Delhi as a research fellow in 2003 and taught for over 13 years. Later, she was appointed as Associate Professor in Aligarh Muslim University.

Prof Husaini has several books and more than 200 research papers to her credit and attended a number of national and international seminars and conferences during her teaching career.
