Senior Congress leader and Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu will address three public meetings in Goa on April 20, electioneering for the party nominees for the Lok Sabha elections.

GPCC chief Girish Chodankar told a  press conference in Panaji that Sidhu will come down to Goa to address  a  public meeting at Mapusa on April 20.  On the same day, he will address two more meetings in the North Goa parliamentary constituency.

Congress national president Rahul Gandhi may not visit the state for the campaign, as he has already addressed booth-level workers of the party on March 8 at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee indoor stadium in Taleigao, Chodankar said

“General secretary of the AICC Priyanka Gandhi holds the charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh, and Rahul Gandhi has been campaigning across the country. So we would not like to disturb them, but if time permits then our national president may come to Goa to address a public meeting,” he said.
