Two people charged with murdering Hakea Prison inmate
Police have charged two people with the murder of a WA prisoner who was found with serious injuries in jail in late February.
Alf Deon Eades, 46, was a remand inmate at Hakea Prison when he was assaulted on February 26.
Mr Eades died in hospital from his injuries on March 11.
Homicide Squad detectives took over the investigation.
On Friday Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Glenn Moore said two men, both aged 22, had been charged with murder.
One of the 22-year-old men faced Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He's been remanded in custody.
The second 22-year-old man was charged with murder on Friday. He will make his first court appearance on Saturday.
Police say their investigation is ongoing. Mr Eades' family have been informed of the charges.
