The Nilgiris 1000 Guineas Grade III (April 21), the Nilgiris 2000 Guineas Grade II (April 28) and the Nilgiris Derby Stakes Grade 1 (May 12) are the main events of the season.
With the idea of providing quality racing, the stewards have framed one Sweepstakes race over a distance of 1600m, carrying an added money of ₹ one million, to the Nilgiris Gold Cup to be run on May 26.
All the meetings would be held during the day.
