Delhi businessman dies a day after cops recovered Rs 1 crore from his BMW

NEW DELHI: A day after cops and Income Tax Department officials seized Rs 1 crore from a car on Poorvi Marg in Vasant Vihar, the 83-year-old businessman died reportedly due to a heart attack.
Senior officials said that the businessman had his office in Khari Baoli area and was caught in his BMW carrying the cash in Rs 2000 denomination.
However, he could not provide any conclusive answer about the source and purpose of the money that was being carried in a briefcase.
Later, the businessman was admitted to a hospital after he complained of chest pain and died due to the attack later.
