BJP MP says CM standing on the base of falsehood

Delhi BJP president and MP Manoj Tiwari on Wednesday attacked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sating that he has become “a great obstruction” to the development of Delhi and is “standing on the base of falsehood.”

Speaking to residents of his home turf, Mr. Tiwari argued that it was “necessary” that BJP MPs are to be elected from all the seven seats in Delhi in the 2019 Lok Sabha election so that the Modi government can be formed again and the “conspiracy of Kejriwal is foiled.”

Mr. Tiwari held meetings with traders, Mohalla Sudhaar Samiti office bearers and social organisations in Sonia Vihar, Sabhapur Gujran, Vijay Vihar, Mukund Vihar and Prakash Vihar and propagated the welfare schemes of the Central government besides inviting suggestions.

“When the entire country is getting the benefits of the development schemes being implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there is a government in Delhi under Arvind Kejriwal which is obstructing the Aayushman Bharat scheme...and obstructing the implementation of Metro Phase–IV,” Mr. Tiwari alleged.

“State governments play the role of a bridge between the Central government and the State for transferring benefits. But the Kejriwal government has become a great hindrance in the development of Delhi because he is creating problems for his political success in place of solving the problems of the people,” Mr. Tiwari argued.

‘Preprations complete’

Meanwhile, the Delhi BJP flagged off a Video Rath which will publicise the work of the BJP government at the Centre even as Mr. Tiwari said that the party’s preparations for the Lok Sabha elections are “complete.”

“...Video Raths are being sent in separate areas of Delhi for the publicity of the all round development of the country under the leadership of Mr. Modi and the historical decisions taken by Modi government in the interest of the country,” he said.

Programme convener and pradesh general secretary Rajesh Bhatia said, “...With the resolve ‘Modi again’, Video Raths will go to all the Lok Sabha constituencies and exhibit the various schemes of the government. It will appeal to the voters to vote for BJP government in view of their achievements in five years and for realising the dream of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.” According to Mr. Bhatia, 14 Video Raths have been prepared for the purpose.
