The Indian Union Muslim League national president K. M. Kader Mohideen on Thursday claimed that the Narendra Modi government had failed on all fronts in the last five years. There is no section in the society which was not affected by the ‘wrong policies’ of the BJP government, Mr. Kader Mohideen told reporters here.
Stating that time had come to oust the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, Mr. Kader Mohideen predicted a landslide victory for the DMK-headed Secular Progressive Alliance in the upcoming general elections and in the assembly by-polls in the State.
Hitting out at the Modi government, he said it had been ‘fooling’ the people and spreading lies on the Rafale deal. Complimenting The Hindu for exposing the truth on the Rafale issue, Mr. Kader Mohideen said the Supreme Court’s order on the Rafale issue was a huge set back to the Narendra Modi government.
Mr. Kader Mohideen said even as the mediation process on the vexed Ram Temple issue at Ayodhya was on, the BJP had in its 2019 poll manifesto released recently had stated it would take all efforts to facilitate expeditious construction of the temple. Building a temple was not the job of the government, he said.
