National Pet Day 2019 - photos of your animal friends from across North Wales
April 11 is National Pet Day, so to celebrate, here are some of the animal companions loved and adored by North Wales Live readers

Held each year on April 11, National Pet day is not only dedicated to the animals we have welcomed into our homes, but to generate awareness of adoption.
It shines an important light on the potential pets currently in shelters just waiting for their forever family to walk through the door and adopt them into a loving home.
Not to mention an excuse to give your pets some additional love and attention.
Those lucky enough to be able to accommodate an animal companion will know how amazing the experience can be.
So to celebrate the day, we asked you to share your favourite photos of the animals who bring joy to your life. Needless to say, the response was huge - North Wales is clearly a region of animal-lovers.
Unfortunately we weren't able to feature them all, but you can visit the original thread on Facebook here.
But in the meantime, enjoy this collection of pets from across North Wales.
And if you think you have enough room in your heart and your home for an animal friend, please do contact one of the many local animal rehoming centres and give a pet a second chance at happily ever after.
