4 killed in accidents involving motorcycles in a day

Coimbatore: As many as four people lost their lives in separate road accidents reported from urban and rural Coimbatore on Wednesday.
P Durai Raj, 36, of Aliyar, who was riding pillion on the moped of his relative A Murugan of Market Road, was killed when a motorcycle crashed into the moped at Millu Medu on Kottur-Aliyar Road on Wednesday evening. Raj was working as a labourer, police sources said. K Kishor Kumar, 26, of Anaimalai, who was riding the motorcycle, was also killed on the spot. He was working in a mobile phone showroom.
In the second incident, 16-year-old V Vinoth Kumar of Malumichampatti, a Plus One student, lost his life after the motorcycle he was on with two friends skidded on the Podanur-Chettipalayam Road. A Manikandan, who was riding the two-wheeler and pillion rider Arun suffered serious head injuries and are undergoing treatment in the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).
Twenty-two-year-old R Ralins Kirubakaran of Rathinapuri lost his life after he lost control over his motorcycle and rammed into the median on Avinashi Road. Kirubakaran, an engineering graduate from Rathinapuri, was searching for job. “He was riding the motorcycle in a rash manner. He suffered injuries on head, hands and legs and passed away in a private hospital,” a police officer said.TNN
