On tuesday, the douglas interagency narcotics team, finally arrested whitehurst in his car on northwest civil bend avenue.

At the time of the arrest, police say he was in possession of heroin.

20 year old tessa smithey of sutherlin was also arrested.

She is currently at the douglas county jail.

Smithey was in the car with whitehurst, and was also in possession of heroin.

After the arrest, detectives obtained a search warrant for whitehurst's home.

The narcotics team found brown powder heroin, commonly known as "gunpowder".

And a small amount of white powder heroin, known as "china white".

Meth, cocaine, a loaded handgun, and large amounts of cash, were also found at the home.

Whitehurst is now in the douglas county jail on outstanding warrants for his arrest, as well as nine charges.
