The upcoming Chevrolet C8 Corvette might be the most rendered new vehicle of our time and the longer the automaker takes to release the mid-engine supercar, the more CGIs of the sports car will be released.

The following rendering comes from the Mid-Engine Corvette Forum and focuses specifically on the C8’s rear fascia, in particular its taillights.

A handful of camouflage C8 Corvette prototypes have already revealed the overall shape of the supercar and this rendering from Chazcron could prove to be an accurate depiction of the car’s rear half.

When compared to the C7, one of the most obvious alterations of the new car are the taillights. They feature a sharp and eye-catching design and have been rendered here with reverse lights, brake lights, and turn signals. The presence of the orange turn signal does look a little odd as the C7 makes do without such obvious turn signals.

Nevertheless, we’re fans of the new lights and think they could be made to look even better if completely clear, a modification Chevrolet could make for certain high-performance C8 variants.

Beyond the taillights, this rendering shows the small rear spoiler expected to adorn entry-level C8 models. The supercar also supports four square tailpipes and small air vents directly below the lights. A rear window offering a glimpse of the mid-mounted powertrain is also pictured alongside a set of wheels with black and silver spokes sitting over a set of beefy Brembo brakes.

Chazcron created a number of additional renderings for the C8 Corvette last month which also previewed the vehicle’s front.
