Man booked for frauds on wife’s plaint

GHAZIABAD: A Vasundhara resident, Manish Singh (38), was booked for his alleged involvement in several bank frauds and other illegal activities after his wife filed a complaint against him.

As per reports, Riya Singh (38), a resident of Vasundhara alleged that her husband, “Manish had taken multiple cars and home loans on the basis fake pan card and other documents. In many of the loans, he has also changed his name to and has purchased over a dozen luxury cars and properties while the instalments for the loans were never paid,” Riya mentioned in her complaint.


Cops said that an FIR relating to the matter has been registered at Indirapuram police station. “An FIR under sections 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 467 (forgery is valuable security), 468 (forgery) and 471 (using forged documents) of the IPC have been registered against the accused. The documents produced to get loans from the bank are also being verified,” said Sandeep Kumar Singh, SHO, Indirapuram police station.
