In a shocking incident, a Jansena MLA threw EVM on floor during the first phase of polling. The polling officials had heated arguments with the lawmaker. The cops arrived at the polling booth and detained the MLA. It remains to be seen that what action will the Election Commission take against him. Voting for 543 Lok Sabha seats will be held in seven phases-April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29., May 6, May 12 and May 19. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
