Man who forced wife into unnatural sex gets 10-year jail in Belagavi

(Image used for representative purpose only)BELAGAVI: A man from Hulkund village, who was held guilty of forcing his wife into unnatural sex, has been sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment.
The district and sessions court pronounced the quantum of punishment on Wednesday. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 11,000 on the culprit. Reading the order in an open court, judge VB Sooryavanshi observed that the crime was of heinous nature.
Katakol police had arrested the accused in March 2017, immediately after the case was registered. Since then, he has been in jail.
Threatened to throw woman, three children out of the house
The man had forced his wife to watch porn videos and indulge in unnatural sex with him and also with a puppy which he had brought home. He made her have sex with the animal three times. When she resisted, he threatened to throw her out of the house along with their three children.
After a thorough probe, police filed a chargesheet in the court based on a complaint lodged by the harassed woman.
