What should a unique Land Rover Defender have, aside from the usual gear that was available from the factory? Kahn Design came up with a few ideas about it.

Made by their Chelsea Truck Company division, this potent off-roader is called the Flying Huntsman 105 Long Nose. It has an extra 400 mm (15.7 in) added to the chassis, in front of the windscreen, and a lot of other visual and technical upgrades.

The most striking of all, apart from the lengthened front part, is the body kit that consists of a custom grille, new bumpers, bonnet and wide wheel arches. The Long Nose Defender rides on exclusive steel wheels, shod in 285/75 Cooper tires, and gets tubular side steps, rear mud flaps in toughened rubber and a few other features.

The interior makeover includes a leather and tweed look, diamond quilted black Nappa leather headliner, billet finish grab handles, leather-wrapped sunvisors, rubber floor mats and aluminum pedals. The British tuner has also added a custom rev counter, electronic gearbox display and several badges.

Then there’s the engine, which is a GM-sourced 6.2-liter V8 that produces 430 horsepower and is coupled to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Enhancing the soundtrack is a sports exhaust system, while the tuned Defender also features an upgraded suspension and brakes.

For £149,999 ($196,150/€174,092), Chelsea Truck Company will sell you this Defender. Which is almost as much as a new Lamborghini Urus, although the two are totally different beasts.
