Students test engineering skills in wind turbine challenge

Nursing homes have to stay vigilant...for the very sick, their lives are at stake.

Engineers of tomorrow competed at suny poly today... testing wind turbines they designed.

About 70 middle and high school students from across the state put their skills to the test.

They brought their hand crafted wind turbines to a competition to test and showcase in front of a panel of expert judges.

Students who take first or second place qualify to represent the state at the 2019 national kidwind challenge in houston next month.
