A rain- snow mix headed our way.

But we start with josh spreiter -- live in lake delton where there's not much left of an empty apartment building that went up in flames overnight.

Josh -- what's the latest?

Investigators are still looking for the cause of the fire... but it is estimated around 1 point 5 million dollars of damage was done.

There is nothing left of the two story apartment complex... which was under contruction at the time of the fire.

This is what the lake delton fire department responded to just after 3 this morning.

Because of the size of the fire... other departments were called in to help... the fire chief tells me the wind was the main concern... as they were afraid the flames would spread.

That's why some of the surrounding buildings and homes were evacuated for a short time.

Crews got the fire under control in about 30 minutes... and luckily nobody was hurt.

I'm told fire officials will remain on scene taking care of any hot spots that come up.
