Share market update: Private Bank shares up; YES Bank, RBL Bank among top gainers
The Nifty Private Bank index was trading 0.01 per cent up at 17,147.10 around 12:41 pm.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Private banks were trading with gains in Wednesday's afternoon session.
Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 1.71 per cent), RBL Bank (up 1.48 per cent), YES Bank (up 1.03 per cent) and DCB Bank (up 0.84 per cent) were among the top performers in the index.
Federal Bank (up 0.71 per cent), Axis Bank (up 0.28 per cent), ICICI Bank (up 0.24 per cent) and IndusInd Bank (up 0.03 per cent) too were trading in the green.
The Nifty Private Bank index was trading 0.01 per cent up at 17,147.10 around 12:41 pm.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 7.30 points at 11,664.65 while the BSE Sensex was down 50.10 points at 38,889.12.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.
Shares of Tata Motors, Vodafone Idea, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, Wipro, Ashok Leyland, SBI, SAIL, Indiabulls Housing Finance and DLF were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
