This is the terrifying moment a man stepped into a road in front of a driver and appeared to reach for a gun.
The driver thought he was about to be carjacked and accelerated, swerving past the man who knocked on the car window.

A man in a white t-shirt, black jacket and blue shorts can be seen standing in the middle of the road.
As the car gets closer, the man lifts his shirt and reaches for something hidden in his shorts - although a firearm is not clearly seen.
The driver speeds up and swerves around the man, who dodges out of the way.
The video was shared to Facebook by Rich Huynh, the driver who thought he was in danger.
He wrote on Tuesday: 'Tonight at approximately 11pm I almost became a victim of a car jacking.

'The attacker hopped out of nowhere into the middle of the road and purposely got in my way.
'Soon as I begun to slow down he reached down his pants for his "gun" and that's when I knew I was in danger and wanted my car.
'I then floored the car towards him and that's when he tried to break my window with the "gun".
Mr Huynh described the man as of Asian appearance with long facial hair.
He said the man appeared to be around 170cm tall and in his 30s.
Victoria Police is investigating.
