RJD and Congress have together joined with three other parties in the state of Bihar to form the alliance called Mahagathbandhan. The three other parties in the group include RLSP, VIP and HAM. RLSP has got five seats to contest from. VIP and HAM have got 3 seats each to contest. Congress has taken 9 constituencies to nominate its candidates from. The lion’s share of the Bihar Lok Sabha constituencies goes to RJD. The party is seen contesting from 20 constituencies, which means half of the total number of seats in the state. The polling will happen in the state during all the 7 phases.
