Mumbai, The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday further slipped by 95.14 points at 38,844.08 in opening trade as selling pressure was seen in material, industrial, IT, Telecom, bankex and capital goods stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too eased by 25.85 points to 11,646.10.
The sensex registered intra-day high and low at 38,950.45 and 38,834.10 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra-day high and low at 11,680.05 and 11,638.65 points respectively.
The losers were TCS by 1.47 pc to Rs 2057.35, HDFC Bank by 1.22 pc to Rs 2262.10, HCL Technology by 1.22 pc to Rs 1104.90 and HeroMoto Corp by 1.20 pc to Rs 2595.
The gainers were Tata Motors by 2.43 pc to Rs 211, Tata Motors DVR by 2.42 pc to Rs 101.60, ONGC by 0.95 pc to Rs 159.05 and Coal India by 0.94 pc to Rs 240.50.
