Sony has added a new set of headphones to it’s ‘Extra Bass’ series called WH-XB700 in India. The new headset is said to come with several key improvements, including refined vocal clarity and indulgent sound experience. The new headset can be paired with an audio source, including a smartphone or PC, both wirelessly via NFC/ Bluetooth and with 3.5mm Aux cable. The headphones are touted to offer up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge. Additionally, they come with support for quick charge technology.
The Sony WH-XB700 price in India is set at Rs 8,990. The pair of headphones go for sale in the country starting April 15th from major electronic stores and through all Sony centers across the country. Audiophiles can purchase the accessory in black or blue colour options.
As for the specifications, the Sony WH-XB700 headphones pack 30mm driver units and can passively block the ambient sound with the wired mode. The device rocks a swivel design that allows users to conveniently carry them around in smallest form factor. The headphones are also equipped with microphones for voice calls or to summon in-built Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice-controlled as well as hands-free experience. Users can simply tap a custom button (placed on the left earpad) and ask the assistant to play their favourite track.
The WH-XB700 can be customised with the compatible Sony Headphones Connect app. The app lets users adjust settings, including Clear Bass, Surround (VPT) and Sound Position Control. Lastly, the headphones weigh 195 grams, which means they will offer a comfortable fit for long hours, and ship with accessories such as Audio cable and USB Type-C charging cable.
