Netflix Should Give Gavin Leatherwood a Raise for How Well He Did in Our Sabrina Spelling Bee

The world of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is complicated -- and not just because of the convoluted bureaucracy of the Church of Night and prejudices within both the mortal and witch communities. We're just talking about the language! All those Latin spells, Satanic statements, and witchy words are tough to keep track of, let alone pronounce or -- Dark Lord forbid -- spell.

That's why we decided to put Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Gavin Leatherwood to the test. We had Leatherwood, who plays Sabrina's (Kiernan Shipka) warlock love interest Nick Scratch, face off against TV Guide Senior Social Media Producer Lauren Zupkus in a Sabrina spelling bee to see who really knows this world best: an actual actor from the successful series or some girl from New Jersey who came in second place in her fifth grade spelling bee. That's right. She didn't even win.
