Gas explosion in Durham, North Carolina causes building collapse

A contractor doing work in the downtown Durham area caused a gas leak which triggered an explosion. The explosion caused a building to partially collapse leaving one dead and at least a dozen hospitalized. A local resident said the explosion could be heard across town.April 10, 2019
