A truck collided with a cement wall separating the I-70 highway due to a major spring snowstorm in Denver, central United States, on Wednesday (April 10).

Multiple crashes in snowy conditions have forced the closure of eastbound Interstate 70 between Frisco and Copper Mountain according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The Colorado National Guard has been activated as a giant spring storm unleashes heavy snow from the Rockies to the Plains and Upper Midwest.

The storm will continue to hit the region with strong and potentially damaging winds through Thursday.

Blizzard Warnings have been issued in 6 states, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
