MUMBAI: Nationalist Congress Party Chief Sharad Pawar said here on Tuesday that Prime Minister Modi labelled everyone who goes against him as ‘terrorist’.

The NCP Supremo was speaking at the inauguration of election office of Congress-NCP candidate Milind Deora.

“Whenever any force  goes against Modi, it is dubbed terrorist. This is Modi’s policy,” Pawar tweeted.

“Since last five years, Modi has been showing his dictatorship. First, Modi said Sharad Pawar is my Guru and as soon as I went against him he started targeting me,” Pawar said.

“This government has weakened the economy of the country through its decisions like demonetisation. Congress never played a religious card, but this government is openly using the ‘Hindu’ card. They are screaming ‘Hindu khatare mein’ (Hindu is in danger). If anyone speaks against the government, he is a traitor. This is the policy of the government,” Pawar said.

“When Omar Abdulla was with the BJP, he was good. And after he started criticizing them he became anti-national. BJP is attacking Nehru and Gandhi families, but he should not forget that because of Nehru’s path the nation never walked towards dictatorship,” Pawar claimed.
