Yamunanagar: Man found dead inside Radaur BDPO office

YAMUNANAGAR: The body of a 27-year-old man was found inside the toilet of the Block Development and Panchayat Office (BDPO) office in Radaur on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Sandeep Kumar, a resident of village Bakali in Kurukshetra district.
After receiving the information, the police reached the spot for inspection. Police said it appears to be a case of drug-overdose.
“Our team reached the spot after receiving the information and the proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC have been conducted. The family members of the deceased were not ready for a post-mortem but as per the due procedure of the law, it has to be conducted to ascertain the cause of death. As per the statement of Pradeep Kumar, the brother Pradeep Kumar of the deceased, Sandeep used to consume drugs and was currently unemployed. We have taken the body into our custody and the post-mortem would be conducted on Thursday,” Radaur SHO Ramesh Kumar said.
