ACT Stream TV 4K streaming device launched in India at Rs 4,499

ACT Fibernet has launched the ‘ACT Stream TV 4K’, expanding its portfolio beyond broadband services. It can stream movies, TV shows, sports, music videos from existing on-demand streaming providers including Netflix, Hotstar, Sony Liv, Hooq, Zee5, YouTube, Sun NxT, and more. The new device lets customers catch up with content for up to 24 hours. The ACT streaming box runs on Android 9.0 Pie and also supports Google Assistant for easy voice control.

ACT Stream TV 4K

The ACT Streaming box comes with a remote control with minimalistic keys that can be used to operate the streaming box. Users can also connect hard disk, USB, joysticks, and camera to the device. It lets users subscribe to premium content from existing OTT streaming partners and channels that have partnered with ACT Fibernet and pay for their subscription directly as part of their monthly bill. Google Assistant lets users search content and control the device with voice commands. It also supports Dolby Digital audio Passthrough for the immersive audio experience.

The ACT Stream TV 4K box has been priced at Rs 4,499. It will be bundled with select plans and will be available for purchase from May 2019 post commercial launch. As an introductory offer, ACT Fibernet is offering the ACT StreamTV 4K as complimentary to select 5000 customers.
