Programme organized by Police Pensioners Welfare Association
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Teamwork is a key to success especially for the police where teamwork plays a very important role and it is a matter of joy that retired police officials are serving the society with team work, said DGP Madhya Pradesh VK Singh addressing programme organised to felicitate meritorious children of police by Madhya Pradesh Police Service Pensioners Welfare Association in the state capital on Sunday.
At the programme organised at Vrindavan Garden, DGP Singh assured the office bearers of the Madhya Pradesh Police Pensioners Welfare Association that they would get all possible help for creative work and along with this association should come forward and support police in developing and establishing good image in the society which could help to communicate and coordinate for people in a better manner.
He said the valuable experience of retired police officers will be used in the training of police officials and personnel.
Nine students of police official and personnel from different districts who achieved more than 85 per cent in the Class 12 examinations were awarded with Rs 10,000 each at the programme which was organised by Madhya Pradesh Police Service Pensioners Welfare Association.
The nine students who were felicitated include Sanjana, Sonam Rajput, Anjali Gupta, Lakshmi Tiwari, Yogita, Rishab Tripathi, Adarsh Tiwari, Yogesh Singh and Mohammed Shahid.
DGP Singh has also felicitated retired senior police officers and employees during this occasion. Among the felicitated officers were 94-year-old retired police officer SS Srivastava and about 75-year-old KL Acharya and R K Dubey.
