Yogendra Yadav appeals to Sikkimese voters to support HSP

on Tuesday urged the people of to vote and support the Hamro Party (HSP) in Assembly and polls to be hailed simultaneously on April 11.

"The HSP led by and others represents a new ray of hope in Indian because they have entered into public life with a motto to serve the people," Yadav said at a press conference.

"In order to succeed in an endeavour to serve the people without greed of power, position and pelf, the young and selfless leaders like Bhutia must be backed to the hilt by the voters of Sikkim in the simultaneous assembly and Lok Sabha polls," he said.

The Swaraj India hailed the HSP's manifesto saying that unlike other parties which seek to woo voters with sops, here is a party which has come out with its home work and calculated costs of various promises made to the people before elections.

"No political party anywhere in the country has ever come with such an innovative manifesto thus far like that of the HSP," Yadav said and complimented its Dr Bina Basnett for it.

Stating that the HSP and its leaders have thrown an alternative before the Sikkimese electorate, the Swaraj India said that the voters should consider backing Bhutia's party by voting for it in the elections.

The HSP is contesting on 20 assembly seats as well as the lone seat in Sikkim.
