Gurgaon: Many parts of the city witnessed power cuts that continued till Monday morning following a dust storm and thunderstorms on Sunday evening,
Several areas also reported water shortages. MCG officials, however, said that supply to any part of the city was not stopped. Discom officials said due to the winds, some transformers had conked out. Meanwhile, the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre predicted that the city will likely witness more storms and light rain on Friday and Saturday. However, officials said, the mercury will continue to rise in the region. TNN
