Spring is here and Fall River is a still total mess. Roadside trash, debris, car parts and tree branches are everywhere and no one seems to have even started to clean this up.
Don't sit back and wait for someone else to clean the city unless you don't care. The local DPW is stretched with other duties, the state has never seemed to be interested in cleaning and maintaining this corner of Massachusetts, and private property owners vary in their commitment to a Fall River that is interested in attracting business and commerce and the productive residents that go with it.
Shake off the winter hangover and pick up the junk and trash from your own property and maybe stray over the line to some spots that no one takes care of.
Look around. Fall River is an embarrassment in its present trashed state.
