HISAR: Hisar police have booked a photographer for blackmailing and raping a 17-year-old girl for three months. No arrest has been made in the case even though the police have started investigation.
An official said a case has been registered against the accused on the complaint of the girl under sections 376(2)(N) (continuous rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and Section 6 (aggravated sexual assault) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Section 67 (transmitted the material which contains sexually explicit act) of the IT Act.
In her complaint, the girl told cops that she used to work at a beauty parlour in the city and had left it after some time. She said, the accused, who had a photo studio near the parlour, had helped her find a job elsewhere and started coming to her house. He would even pick and drop her from home to parlour. In the meantime, he took some photographs of her along with him on the pretext of using these for modelling purpose, she added.
According to the rape survivor, he started blackmailing her on the basis of those photos and he forcefully took her to a hotel in Hisar in November 2017 and raped her. The next day he again took her to the same hotel and again raped her. He also took some objectionable photos of her. The girl added that the accused raped her on three-four occasions.
In February 2018, the girl left her job and stopped talking to him. The accused then reportedly started harassing her by calling from different mobile numbers. When she refused to meet or talk to him, he sent her photos to her sister on her mobile phone in order to blackmail her.
