Punjab enforcement teams seize cash, liquor, psychotropic substances

Punjab, enforcement teams have seized cash, liquor, psychotropic substances and valuables worth 166.27 crore rupees ever since the model code of conduct for the Lok Sabha polls came into force.

Punjab Chief Electoral Officer S Karuna Raju said in Chandigarh that the surveillance teams have seized unaccounted cash worth 18.33 crore rupees. He said the enforcement wings have seized, over two lakh litres of liquor worth 5.55 crore rupees.
