OK Marine Remains

It's a journey several decades in the making... the remains of a marine killed during world war two were returned to his home state of oklahoma.

Corporal claire goldtrap was just 21 years old when he died in action -- on a remote island in the south pacific.

Goldtrap's family was there yesterday for his homecoming-- which had all the pomp and ceremony worthy of an american hero goldstrap's unidentified remains had been buried at the national memorial cemetery of the pacific in hawaii -- but in 2016 the government disinterred the body -- and using d-n-a and dental records -- identified the remains.
