South Central Railway has announced it will run special trains next month in view of the summer rush.
Machilipatnam-Secunderabad summer special (07049) will start from Machilipatnam at 3.05 p.m. on May 5, 12, 19 and 26 and arrive in Secunderabad at 10.45 p.m. on the same day. In the return direction, Secunderabad-Machilipatnam special (07050) will depart from Secunderabad at 11.55 p.m. on Sundays and arrive in Machilipatnam at 8.55 a.m. the next day.
En route, the trains will stop at Pedana, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalli, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda stations.
Narsapur-Hyderabad summer special (07258) will depart from Narsapur at 6 pm. on May 5, 12, 19 and 26 and arrive in Secunderabad at 3.55 a.m. the next day and then in Hyderabad at 4.45 a.m. En route the trains will halt at Palakollu, Viravasaram, Bhimavaram Jn, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla, Nadikudi, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda.
Hyderabad-Vijayawada summer special (07257) will depart leave at 10.20 p.m. on May 6, 13, 20 and 27, arrive in Secunderabad at 10.45 a.m. and in Vijayawada at 6.35 a.m. the next day.
En route the special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Dornakal and Khammam stations, a press release said.
