Congress Chevella Candidate Konda Vishweshwer Reddy said that voting for hand symbol is for Chevella and voting for car is for Karimnagar, raking up the local and non-local issue.
At a press conference here, he said Chevella needs a local candidate and claimed his rival and TRS candidate Ranjit Reddy was from Karimnagar. He said he had visited 434 villages in his five-year term and met 6 lakh people and no MP has visited so many villages in the last 60 years. He said he would end up with landslide victory because of his work and also the forgotten promises of the TRS for Chevella and Ranga Reddy district. “These elections may be between two parties, Congress and BJP, but the fact is, it’s between two ideologies, between tolerance and intolerance, credibility and lack of credibility,” he said.
Telangana, across regions, religions, caste, communities, is asking for a voice which can question this government and he will be that voice. He, however, said rigging was a major concern and the reason for suspicion was that in the Assembly elections more than 10% votes were polled after 5 p.m. “But our cadre would be vigilant.”
