GUNTUR: Social activist and independent candidate for Guntur west assembly constituency, Dr Tata Seva Kumar has sought open apologies for the public for causing "little noise and air pollution" during the campaign trail. He said that they have used just three vehicles for the campaign to avoid noise and air pollution.
Addressing the public on the last day of campaign on Tuesday, Dr Seva Kumar said that they have carried out entire campaign only through distribution of pamphlets to avoid noise and air pollution. He said that his door-to-door campaign received wonderful response from the public. “Still, we might have caused some inconvenience to the people by way of spreading the noise and air pollution. We tender sincere apologies to the public,” said Dr Kumar.
Dr Kumar said that it was the turn of the people to take a wise move to support the honest and cleanest people in the public life. He promised to account for single rupee of public fund if he gets elected as legislator. He said that he had been selflessly serving the people through his Service Health Organisation (SHO) for the past 20 years and wished to expand the services through public life.
He said that people should not support the corrupt people in the politics and suffer with lack of basic services in the city. He said that Guntur city had been suffering the worst infrastructure due to the lack of committed leaders. He appealed to people to reject the contractors, business people, scamsters, hereditary leaders from the public life and elect the honest leaders.
