‘Isharo Isharo Mein’ singers keep lively audience in awe

Nagpur: Local singers added a melodious flavour to the musical programme ‘Isharo Isharo Mein Dil Lene Wale’ with several hit numbers at Scientific Society Hall, Laxmi Nagar, on Sunday.
The programme, aptly presented by Jayprakash Malviya, took off with some soul-touching songs like ‘Ja re ja re ud ja re panchhi’, ‘Bhuli hui yaadein’ and ‘Kahi dur jab din dhal jaye’.
Thereafter, ‘Milti hai zindagi mein mohobbat’, ‘Chahu ya mai ya nahi’, ‘Do lafzon ki hai dilki kahani’, along with the peppy notes of ‘Likhe jo khat tujhe’, ‘Itna na mujhse tu pyaar’, ‘Bhavre ki gunjan’, ‘Bahon mein chale aao’, ‘Sochengey tumhe pyar’, ‘Tu kaha yeh bata’, ‘Tauba yeh matwali chal’ and ‘Aaj ki raat mere dil ki salami’ took the audience to a new plane.
Singers Sama Solav, AN Sharma, Jayprakash Malviya, Sushila Chauhan, Jatin Malviya, Rashmi Kohle, Arti Rajkondwar, Mangesh Pawar, Latesh Kurani, Anjali Wankhede, TK Balakrishnan, Jaya Dhabhekar, Sanjay Pillay, Nandu Andhare, Sanjay Uttarwar, Padmakar Maske, Meera Sharma, Sulbha Mandekar and Dhanashree Puranik took the stage by the surreal tunes of ‘Yeh zindagi ussi ki’, ‘Yeh ladka haye Allah’, ‘Chand ko kya maloom’, ‘Yara sili sili’ and ‘Chahiye thoda pyar’.
Duets like ‘Do sitaro ka milan’, ‘Raat ke humsafar’, ‘Isharo isharo mein’, ‘Dhal gaya din’, ‘Tere bina jiya jaye na’, ‘Dekha hai pehli baar’ and ‘Oh mere sanam’ made the audience sway to the music.
The programme was conceptualized by Sanjay Pillay and Sulbha Mandekar. Om Prakash Sahu, was the anchor who kept the audience engaged by sharing several anecdotes of the singers and their respective songs.
