Hubballi: Level of dialogue has totally collapsed in the current political scenario, said actor turned politician Malavika Avinash.
Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, Malavika, who is a co-spokeswoman of state BJP said, “Personal attacks are increasing against ace politicians like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is not good sign of politics.”

“When we projected Modi as the PM candidate in 2014, many people were unaware about Modi who had served as chief minister of Gujarat. Today every Indian knows who Modi is. He cleansed the nation which had turned into a hub of corruption during the 10 year tenure of UPA. Thanks to five year-long corruption-free governance by Modi, the whole administration mechanism has improved a lot in the country. No omission or commission took place in governance. India has become fastest growing economy in past five years,” she claimed.

Taking Congress to task, Malavika said the same party that had coined slogan of ‘gareebi hatao’ in 1971 is now speaking about ‘Nyay’ for poor. “The slogan itself says poverty was not eradicated in its regime. For BJP, nation is first, party second and individuals are the last. But for Congress, vote bank is first,” she alleged.

“BJP never compromises with terrorism but Congress is turning into enemy for the nation by assuring to cancel Section 124A of Indian Penal Code which deals with sedition,” Malavika added.

She also questioned Congress for fielded former minister Vinay Kulkarni who is facing allegations of murder and is feared to be arrested by police on a court’s order soon.
