Share market update: 8 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 8 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Balaxi Ventures, Bil Energy Systems, ICICI Lombard General Insurance and Infosys.

Jai Balaji Industries, Merck, Seamec, Spacenet Enterprises India also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 0.65 points up at 11,603.85 while the BSE Sensex was trading 30.72 points up at 38,731.25.

Overall, 22 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Wipro, HCL Tech, YES Bank, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto were among the top gainers.

While Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, Indiabulls Housing Finance, UPL and Kotak Bank were trading in the red.
