Loco pilot hit by train on rly station, dies

Vadodara: A loco pilot lost his life when a train hit him on platform one at the railway station in the city on Monday. The accident occurred in afternoon when Narendra Bobde (50) was walking on the platform.
The railway police said that he was hit by Shatabdi Express at the northern end of the platform. “Investigations are udnerway to ascertain how the train hit him,” the police said. A case of accidental death has been filed.
The railway police also found another dead body in the railway yard on Monday. Rahul Shah (29) was found dead in the railway yard. The railway police said that Shah may have fallen off a running train and died of injuries.
